I offer consultation both in an individual and group setting, depending on the needs of the therapist and availability in the consultation group. The consultation group is once a month on Friday mornings and co-lead by Lindsay Stewart, R.C.S.W.

EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing)

This is the most helpful technique that I have learned for the treatment of trauma and phobias in all my years of practice. It was developed to resolve symptoms resulting from disturbing and unresolved life experiences and uses a structured approach to address past, present and future aspects of disturbing memories. It has also been developed to help with performance enhancement for athletes, performers and anyone engaged in a challenging activity such as public speaking. Used this way, EMDR involves connecting with the strengths we already have and removing the mental blocks we have to doing better.
